The Role
As a Paint Sprayer, you'll be responsible for preparing and refinishing vehicles to the highest standards, ensuring every repair is completed with precision and attention to detail. You'll work efficiently to manufacturer standards while maintaining excellent quality throughout the repair process.
Responsibilities
Prepare vehicles and panels for painting.
Mix paints to achieve accurate colour matches.
Apply water-based paint systems to manufacturer standards.
Spray vehicles to a high-quality finish.
Carry out final quality inspections to ensure defect-free repairs.
Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
Work efficiently while meeting productivity and quality targets.
Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience as a Vehicle Paint Sprayer or Paint Technician within an accident repair centre.
Extensive experience using water-based paint systems.
City & Guilds qualification or equivalent is preferred.
Strong understanding of modern vehicle refinishing techniques.
Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work.
Stable employment history within the automotive repair industry.
Ability to work independently and as part of a busy team.
