Salary: Up to £45,500 + excellent package
Boston Rose are working with an independent school in Somerset to recruit a School Teacher on a full-time maternity cover contract for Key Stage 3.
This role would suit a qualified teacher or someone with substantial teaching or tutoring experience who is passionate about inclusive education and making a genuine difference to young people's lives.
The Role
* Teach and support middle school pupils with SEN and SEMH needs
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to individual needs
* Create a safe, structured and therapeutic learning environment
* Adapt teaching in line with EHCPs and support plans
* Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists and families
* Support pupils' emotional wellbeing, confidence and resilience
* Uphold safeguarding and contribute to the wider school community
What We're Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or significant teaching/tutoring experience
* Strong classroom practice and behaviour management skills
* Calm, reflective and adaptable approach
* Commitment to inclusive education and pupil wellbeing
* Experience working with SEN, SEMH or autism is desirable but not essential
