The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

The Role
As a Customer Service Adviser, you'll be the first point of contact for customers, supporting them with a range of savings and investment enquiries over the phone.
Your responsibilities will include:
Handling customer enquiries in a professional and friendly manner.
Assisting with account queries, withdrawals, opening new accounts and ISA transfers.
Processing customer transactions and account updates.
Resolving customer queries and complaints efficiently.
Providing additional support to vulnerable customers when required.
Identifying customers' needs and recommending suitable products and services.
Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver the best customer experience.
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
Previous customer service experience, either over the phone, face-to-face or in another customer-focused role.
Excellent communication and listening skills.
A positive, caring and professional approach.
The ability to stay calm and organised in a busy environment.
A willingness to learn and develop within the role.
Training
Successful candidates must be available to start on 24th August and complete 2-3 weeks of full-time training at the Skipton office. Please ensure you have minimal holiday or other commitments during this period.
