Randstad Care is expanding our core workforce across the Swansea City Centre and Hafod areas. We are seeking steadfast care staff to deliver targeted support to children and young adults navigating severe communication hurdles, learning disabilities, and past trauma.
This position fits professionals with prior experience as a Residential Care Worker, Support Worker, Youth Worker, Mental Health Assistant, Custody Worker, or Family Support Worker.
How you will make a difference
Promote Autonomy: Guide young people through daily living routines, independence building, and personal goals.
Ensure Safety: Handle challenging behaviours firmly and respectfully, maintaining personal dignity at all times.
Clear Record Keeping: Complete detailed incident logs and daily reports in line with regulatory guidelines.
What you will bring
Proven Track Record: At least 6 months of paid experience within UK youth support or residential social care.
Essential Traits: High emotional intelligence, strong communication skills, and unwavering commitment to safeguarding.
Transport: Valid UK driving licence and independent transport to commute reliably across central Swansea services.
