Candidates are required to live locally and have a strong academic background in Civil Engineer or Geography and experience completing flood risk assessments, drainage strategies or transport assessments.
Experience working for a Consultancy or local Authority is also preferred.
This exciting role will offer you to the chance to join an experienced team to complete flood risk and drainage projects for public and private sector clients and housing developers across the region. With sustainability and the environment at the focus of designs, you will be trained to complete design solutions for residential and renewable energy projects spanning windfarms, solar farms and battery storage farms across the UK.
This exciting role will also offer training and support to complete the following;
-Flood Risk Assessments
-Surface water and foul water drainage strategies for sites.
-Topographic assessments.
-Hydraulic modelling and draw up in AutoCAD.
-Drainage outlines in AutoCAD to supplement planning applications
-Client engagement and liaison with Landscape Architects and Ecologists and stakeholders (after training).
-SuDS design- designing natural drainage systems.
-Nutrient Neutrality Assessments and solutions.
-Sustainability assessments.
-You will also have the chance to try various sectors including transport planning, if required.
This exciting role offers a starting salary of £27k + two professional subscriptions (CIWEM or ICE) + additional benefits including company away days, time back in lieu and hybrid working after probation. Full time office work is required initially.
