The role will be to cover a mixture of sites across the area, such as office spaces, warehouses and business sites of well-known companies. When on site, you will be apart of the security team conducting patrols, searches and maintaining the customer standard at all times.
Contract Information:
Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour, depending on site rates.
Hours: 42 hours.
Shift Pattern: Applicants will need to be flexible to work Monday to Sunday, as well as covering day and night shifts. No set shift pattern as you will be required to cover, sickness, holidays, etc.
SIA Licence: Door Supervisor or Security Guarding.
Applicants must have a Full UK Driving Licence and have access to their own transport.
Your Time at Work
As an Area Security Officer, your duties will include:
- Meet and greet staff and visitors, and ensure they adhere to the required security protocols
- Conducting searches where required
- Patrolling the premises
- Dealing with security incidents
Our Perfect Worker
Our ideal Area Security Officer will need to be aged 18 or over, a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to provide a friendly and professional service at all times. Good IT knowledge is also key.
You must be flexible and available to work on a varied shift pattern which will include days, nights and weekends.
It would be a benefit to have some security experience and your SIA licence; however, it's not essential, as we provide full SIA (Security Industry Authority) licence training.
