The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.
We are currently recruiting a Hygiene Department Trainer to join a fast-paced food production environment. This is a hands-on role focused on training, compliance, and maintaining high hygiene and food safety standards across the nightshift team.
Key Responsibilities, although not limited to:
• Deliver on-the-job training to hygiene staff on cleaning procedures, equipment, and food safety
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, and health & safety standards
• Monitor hygiene performance and provide coaching and feedback on shift
• Develop and update SOPs, CIC/CIP processes, and training materials
• Maintain accurate training records and support audit requirements
• Work closely with shift leaders to drive performance and standards
• Track KPIs and support continuous improvement initiatives
We would love to hear from candidates who
• Have experience in a hygiene role within food manufacturing or processing
• Have good knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and hygiene compliance
• Have experience training or coaching staff (preferred)
• Can write and update SOPs
• Have strong communication and organisational skills
• Have good attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
• Are reliable with good attendance and timekeeping
Desirable
• Food Safety or Hygiene certification
• Experience with CIC/CIP systems
• Knowledge of continuous improvement or lean practices
