The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the Tax Compliance Team, supervising three assistants and ensuring timely, accurate delivery of all work.
Review personal tax compliance across individuals, trusts, estates and charities, maintaining high technical standards.
Provide clear, expert advice on tax returns, liabilities, claims and elections.
Ensure all submissions to HMRC meet statutory deadlines through strong controls and efficient processes.
Work closely with senior tax leaders to manage workflow and maintain a smooth compliance operation.
Oversee capital gains tax reporting for residential property transactions.
Build strong client relationships, explaining complex issues simply and supporting clients through sensitive matters.
Manage billing processes and ensure effective use of internal systems.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
Support wider team initiatives, knowledge sharing and occasional business development.
About You
You will be a tax professional with strong personal tax compliance expertise, ideally gained within an accountancy practice, professional services firm or private client environment.
Essential Experience
Recent tax compliance experience, ideally including trusts and estates.
Experience advising clients on tax returns and tax liabilities.
Familiarity with tax software and HMRC online systems.
Strong organisation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable Experience
Experience managing or mentoring junior team members.
Ability to build strong relationships with high-value private clients.
Excellent attention to detail and technical accuracy.
A proactive mindset with an interest in expanding technical tax knowledge.
