We’re looking for a skilled Folder Gluer Operator to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for setting up and operating folder gluer machinery, ensuring cartons and packaging products are folded and glued to the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Shift Pattern & Working Hours

* Rotating 12-hour shift pattern:

* Thurs / Fri / Sat – 1 day off – Mon / Tues / Wed – then 7 days off

* Currently day shifts, moving to rotating days and nightsPay & Benefits

* £28,000 – £30,000 per annum

* Company pension scheme

* 20 days holiday plus bank holidays

Your Day-to-Day Duties

* Set up and operate folder gluer machines within the print finishing department

* Adjust machine settings to ensure precise folding, gluing, and carton alignment

* Monitor production to meet quality standards and output targets

* Perform regular quality checks on finished products

* Read and follow job sheets and production specifications

* Collaborate with print and die-cutting teams to maintain workflow

* Carry out basic machine adjustments and troubleshoot issues

* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment

Skills & Experience Required

* Previous experience as a Folder Gluer Operator, Print Finisher, or Packaging Machine Operator

* Background in print, packaging, carton, or manufacturing environments

* Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

* Ability to interpret production specifications and job sheets

* Basic maths skills for measurements and machine settings

* Confident using hand tools for machine adjustments
