Digital Platform Product Manager - Digital Platforms & APIs

Location: Banstead (Hybrid)

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Development Manager to lead the strategy, roadmap and delivery of a growing digital platforms and API estate within a global brand name, established locally in the area.

This is a business facing technology leadership role focused on product ownership, digital platform strategy, API governance, vendor management and Agile delivery. Working across both BAU and project initiatives, you'll help shape the future direction of the organisation's digital capabilities while ensuring platforms and integrations continue to deliver value across the business.

Key Responsibilities

Own the vision, roadmap and lifecycle management of the organisation's Digital Platform and API capabilities
Act as Product Owner for digital platforms, integrations and APIs, ensuring delivery aligns with business priorities and strategic objectives
Define and drive platform governance, standards and best practices in partnership with architecture, security and technology teams
Work closely with business stakeholders to understand, challenge and prioritise requirements across both BAU and project initiatives
Manage third-party suppliers and delivery partners, ensuring quality, value for money and successful outcomes
Lead Agile delivery activities including planning, backlog management, reviews and retrospectives
Drive the adoption of modern digital platform and integration capabilities across the organisation
Ensure solutions align with governance, security, compliance and risk management requirements
Manage budgets, reporting, platform performance and service improvements
Act as a key link between business teams, vendors, architects and senior stakeholdersAbout You

Experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, Delivery Manager or Technology Manager
Strong stakeholder and supplier management skills
Experience working in Agile environments
Understanding of APIs, integrations and digital platforms
Comfortable balancing strategic planning with operational delivery
