Are you a caring, motivated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant looking for your next opportunity in education?
Tradewind Recruitment is currently working with a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools across St. Helen's and the surrounding areas, and we are looking for passionate Learning Support Assistants to support pupils with a variety of learning needs, particularly those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

The Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils and helping to create a positive, engaging learning environment.
Your responsibilities may include:
✅ Supporting individual pupils or small groups with learning activities
✅ Providing tailored SEN support to help pupils reach their full potential
✅ Encouraging confidence, independence and positive behaviour
✅ Supporting pupils with social, emotional and communication development
✅ Assisting teachers with classroom preparation and organisation
✅ Monitoring pupil progress and providing feedback to teaching staff
✅ Helping to create a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment
✅ Supporting personal care needs where required
What We're Looking For
We are particularly interested in candidates who:
✔ Have previous experience working with children, particularly those with SEN
✔ Are patient, adaptable and proactive
✔ Build positive relationships quickly with pupils and staff
✔ Are passionate about supporting children's development and well-being
✔ Have a positive and flexible approach to learning support
