Looking to work on challenging construction projects while progressing toward Chartership?
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a growing engineering consultancy based in Maidstone.
🔍 What You'll Be Doing
You’ll be involved in the design and delivery of temporary works solutions across a variety of construction and infrastructure projects.
Your responsibilities will include:
✔ Designing temporary works structures – propping, shoring, scaffolding and excavation support
✔ Producing structural calculations and reports in accordance with Eurocodes
✔ Preparing technical drawings and design details using AutoCAD or similar software
✔ Collaborating with contractors, project managers and site teams
✔ Attending site visits and inspections when required
✔ Supporting design reviews and project coordination
🧠 What We're Looking For
You may be a great fit if you have:
🎓 A Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
📊 Around 3–6 years’ experience in structural or temporary works design
📐 Knowledge of Eurocodes and BS5975 Temporary Works procedures
💻 Experience with structural analysis and CAD software
🏆 Working toward Chartered Engineer status (ICE or IStructE) (desirable)
