The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

We are currently seeking an experienced Section Engineer to join a major civil engineering programme at Heathrow Airport. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading contractor delivering complex infrastructure works on one of the UK's most prestigious projects.
Key Responsibilities
Managing and overseeing groundworks, bulk excavation, and deep excavation activities
Leading delivery of reinforced concrete (RC) structures including foundations, walls, slabs, and associated works
Coordinating and managing sheet piling and temporary works operations
Acting as Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC), ensuring compliance with temporary works procedures and approvals
Reviewing RAMS, ITPs, drawings, and specifications
Managing subcontractors and site engineers to ensure safe, efficient delivery of works
Overseeing QA documentation, inspections, and handovers
Liaising with construction teams, designers, and project management to ensure programme targets are achieved
Requirements
Proven experience as a Section Engineer on major civil engineering or infrastructure projects
Strong background in groundworks, excavation, RC structures, and sheet piling
Previous experience working as a Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC)
Ability to manage engineering teams and subcontractors
Strong understanding of QA processes, ITPs, RAMS, and temporary works procedures
Experience using Leica or Trimble equipment would be advantageous
Heathrow, aviation, rail, highways, or major infrastructure experience preferred
