The Role
As a live-in care worker in Peterborough, you will live in the client’s home for agreed shift periods and provide continuous, person-centred support tailored to their needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Personal care, including washing, bathing, dressing, toileting and continence support
* Helping with mobility and daily routines
* Administering or assisting with medication as per the care plan
* Monitoring health and reporting any changes or concerns promptly
* Companionship, emotional support and encouraging hobbies and social activities
* Preparing meals to suit the client’s preferences, dietary and cultural needs
* Light housework, including cleaning and laundry
* Keeping accurate daily notes, medication records and incident reports
* Following health and safety, safeguarding and infection control policies

* Able to work independently and use your initiative
* Care experience is helpful but not essential
