TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream primary school in Newham that provides dedicated SEN support across Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2. The school has a welcoming, family-feel environment and a strong community ethos where staff work together to help every pupil succeed.
The school is looking to appoint a Primary LSA on a long-term basis from September, providing one-to-one support for pupils with SEMH and ADHD within its SEN provision. The successful Primary LSA will help pupils manage their emotions and behaviour, access classroom learning and develop their confidence and independence.
The successful Primary LSA will have:
• Experience supporting children within a primary school setting
• Experience working with pupils across Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2
• Experience providing one-to-one support for pupils with SEMH and ADHD
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills
• A flexible and adaptable approach
• A caring, patient and committed attitude
