About the Role
Our partner schools in Barking and Dagenham are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and adaptable Primary Supply Teachers to join their teams. We have a wide range of flexible supply opportunities available, from day-to-day cover to longer-term assignments, across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
As a supply teacher, you will provide essential support to pupils, ensuring continuity of learning and maintaining a positive and engaging classroom environment. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience across a variety of school settings while making a real difference to children’s learning.
Key Responsibilities
• Delivering lessons according to plans provided by the class teacher
• Supporting pupils’ learning, behaviour, and wellbeing
• Maintaining a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
• Adapting quickly to different school policies, year groups, and teaching styles
• Providing constructive feedback on pupil progress
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching in primary schools (desirable but not essential)
• Flexibility, confidence, and a proactive approach
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• A professional, supportive, and collaborative mindset
