The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC Engineer to join our growing team. This role involves installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across commercial sites. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on HVAC systems
* Diagnose faults and perform repairs efficiently
* Install and commission air conditioning and heating systems
* Ensure all work complies with current regulations and safety standards
* Complete service reports and maintain accurate records
* Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients on-site
Requirements:
* Proven experience as an HVAC Engineer in a commercial environment
* Valid F-Gas (Category 1) qualification
* Commercial Gas Safe certification (essential)
* Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including split systems, VRV/VRF, and AHUs
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
* Electrical qualifications (e.g., 18th Edition)
* Experience with BMS systems
* IPAF or PASMA certification
