We are looking for caring, reliable and enthusiastic Unqualified Teaching Assistants to work within specialist schools and alternative provisions across Chorley, Leyland and Bamber Bridge. You'll be supporting both primary and secondary-aged pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

The Role
Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
Assisting students with additional learning, communication and emotional needs.
Helping to create a safe, positive and engaging learning environment.
Supporting teachers with classroom activities and behaviour management.
Encouraging students to develop confidence, independence and social skills.
Working across a variety of specialist provisions to meet the individual needs of each setting.
What We're Looking For
Personal or professional experience supporting children or adults with additional needs.
A positive, patient and resilient approach.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
Flexibility to work across schools in the Chorley, Leyland and Bamber Bridge areas.
Essential Requirements
An Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service (UDS), or willingness to apply and pay for a new Enhanced DBS.
A minimum of two years' employment references.
The right to work in the UK.
What We Offer
£109.85 per day.
Term-time only working pattern.
