How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

At Bellway we recognise that people are the key to our success, and we are working towards becoming a more inclusive employer that values and respects individual differences in the workplace.

There is an exciting opportunity to join Bellway, one of the UK’s largest house builders. Our Group Head Office, located in Newcastle upon Tyne is looking to recruit a Future Talent Development Coordinator for Programmes & Recruitment to join the Group HR department.

The Role

As Future Talent Development Coordinator for Programmes & Recruitment, you will play a proactive role in shaping Bellway’s future talent landscape. You will shape, enhance and coordinate high-impact development programmes for apprentices, graduates and trainees, ensuring every stage of their journey supports Bellway’s long-term people strategy. Working closely with external training providers, you will help develop and deliver a market-leading early careers offering that develops future talent and builds the capabilities Bellway needs for continued success.

The role will also include commercial oversight of training partners and Apprenticeship Levy utilisation, ensuring strong return on investment and programme quality. You will use insight and data to continuously improve outcomes, retention and progression across all future talent pathways.

Working closely with the Future Talent Coordinator (Experience & Engagement) and the Recruitment and OD teams, you will act as the end-to-end process owner for future talent recruitment, leading attraction, selection and onboarding strategies to secure high-quality talent pipelines across apprenticeships, graduates and trainees.

Principal accountabilities of the role include:

Establish, maintain and develop strong working relationships with divisional teams and third‑party learning providers to ensure programmes align with long-term workforce needs.

Oversee funding planning including Apprenticeship Levy utilisation, forecasting and identifying opportunities to expand provision.

Lead and continuously improve the “Good Foundations” leadership programme, ensuring its content, structure and delivery remain future-focused and high quality.

Own annual future talent recruitment, including attraction strategy, employer branding, assessment design and selection methodology.

Coordinate enrolment, onboarding and pre-boarding for new graduates, trainees and apprentices, ensuring a seamless experience.

Working closely with the Future Talent Coordinator (Experience & Engagement), define and monitor key success metrics, using data and insight to continuously improve programme effectiveness.

Proactively manage training providers and partners, including contract oversight, performance management and continuous improvement of delivery quality.

Represent Bellway at events across the UK and support activities to build an employer-of-choice brand and widen access to housebuilding careers.

Recognise and celebrate cohort achievements through events, awards and communications.

Act as Deputy Safeguarding Officer and ensure compliance with relevant procedures.

The above list of accountabilities are not exclusive or exhaustive. The post holder will be required to undertake any such duties as may be reasonably expected
