Your main responsibilities will include:
* Sampling and analysing raw materials, process and product samples in line with QC schedules
* Providing accurate and timely analysis results to support production and quality control teams
* Assisting with equipment calibration and maintenance to ensure lab accuracy
* Maintaining housekeeping and inventory levels in the laboratory and storage areas
* Supporting the production and maintenance departments as part of the on-call rota
Skills & Experience:
* A Level Chemistry and GCSE Maths essential
* Previous experience in a chemical or cement laboratory environment
* Familiarity with analytical equipment such as XRF, XRD or Flame Photometry is desirable
* Strong understanding of Health & Safety standards and manual handling principles
