SEN Art Teacher – What the Role InvolvesDeliver engaging and differentiated Art lessons to pupils with a range of additional needs, adapting learning to suit individual EHCP outcomes and learning profiles.
Working closely with Teaching Assistants, therapists and pastoral staff.
The successful SEN Art Teacher will use creative learning to promote communication, self-expression and emotional wellbeing, while helping pupils develop confidence both inside and outside the classroom.

SEN Art Teacher – What the School is Looking For

The ideal SEN Art Teacher will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have experience teaching Art at secondary level. Previous experience within a SEND school, specialist provision or inclusive mainstream setting would be highly advantageous, although mainstream teachers with a genuine passion for SEND are encouraged to apply. The school is looking for a patient, creative and adaptable practitioner who can build strong relationships and inspire pupils to achieve their potential.
