GSL Education is looking for enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across Boston. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with young people and want to gain valuable classroom experience.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes during teacher absence, ensuring students stay focused and complete their work.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver pre-set lessons across a variety of subjects
Maintain classroom discipline and engagement
Support students during independent and group work
Ensure a safe and structured learning environment
Provide feedback to teaching staff
Follow safeguarding and behaviour policies
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Previous experience working with young people
Strong communication and classroom management skills
Confidence and a proactive attitude
Ability to adapt to different school environments
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
