Electrician - Stockport, Cheshire & Wigan

Location: Stockport, Cheshire & Wigan

Working pattern: 42 hour week, out of hours cover in line with rota with an out of hours payment, paid overtime opportunities available (subject to business need)

Key essentials: Full UK manual driving licence, NVQ Level 3 or Equivalent in Electrical Installation (Buildings and Structures), C&G 2382-18 and C&G 2391

What you’ll be doing

* Diagnosing faults and completing responsive repairs, aiming for first-time fixes and high customer satisfaction

* Carrying out inspections, testing, and remedial works in void properties

* Attending emergency appointments, including out-of-hours where required

* Working in line with all statutory legislation, licences, accreditations, and the relevant Safety Management System

* May attend emergency appointments in and out of hours

* Communicating professionally and empathetically with customers, colleagues, and local stakeholders

* Carrying out work safely and professionally, ensuring customers’ homes are left clean and secure

* Using PDA/mobile technology to receive, update, and manage repair jobs efficiently

* Producing accurate records, including before-and-after photographs and detailed job notes

What you’ll need

* NVQ Level 3 or Equivalent in Electrical Installation (Buildings and Structures)

* C&G 2382- 18 Requirements for Electrical Installations 18th Edition

* C&G 2391 Electrical Inspection and Testing or equivalent

* Full UK manual driving licence
