The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

We are now recruiting for a TIG Welder to assume responsibility for fabricating and welding ultra-high vacuum chambers and components, pushing the boundaries of precision engineering.
You will work closely with our Lead Technician, ensuring projects meet exacting standards and are completed within deadlines.
Additionally, as our TIG Welder / TIG Fabricator you will:
Fabricate and TIG weld vacuum chambers, components and sub-assemblies.
Collaborate with the Lead Technician to align work schedules and project timelines.
Conduct quality control evaluations to ensure all products meet our high standards.
Set up and perform leak testing using helium mass spectrometers to verify the integrity of chamber vessels.
In order to be successful in this role it’s essential that you have:
At least 3 years of TIG welding and fabrication experience.
Proven skills in metal fabrication, including the use of precision measuring tools.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Confidence in meeting deadlines and working in a fast-paced environment.
Basic knowledge of turning (advantageous).
Strong commitment to maintaining and enhancing health and safety standards.

Working Conditions
This role involves travel to client sites. While most work will be carried out from your usual base, you may be required to attend client meetings, site visits, or events as part of your duties. Travel will be planned in advance wherever possible, and all reasonable expenses will be covered.
