This position is office based, working Monday – Friday 08:00am – 16:30pm offering a salary of up to £40,000 which will be pending relevant, previous experience.
Technical Author main duties:
* Producing full documentation packages (Manuals, IQ/OQ, SDS, HDS, DQ, and FDS).
* Working directly with physical machinery to ensure documentation accuracy.
* Contributing to the department to help streamline documentation processes.
* Ensuring all documentation meets required industry standards.
Technical Author required skills and experience:
* Minimum 3 years in a technical authoring role with a technical or automation background.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office; excellent written English and communication skills.
* Organised, attentive to detail, and a desire to pursue a career in engineering.
* Taking care of the company and customers as though they were your own.
* Pursuing new ideas and listening to creative suggestions.
* Encouraging initiative and adopting a well-managed environment.
* Working together with respect to achieve results without conflict.
