An exciting opportunity has become available for an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer to join a forward-thinking building services consultancy that specialises in sustainable and technically challenging projects.
Recently relocating into a fresh new office space, the consultancy continues to grow its reputation for delivering innovative mechanical and electrical engineering solutions across commercial, heritage, arts, education, and residential developments.
You will play a key role in project delivery while working closely with senior engineers, architects, and clients.
Responsibilities
* Deliver mechanical designs for building services projects.
* Produce calculations, specifications, and technical reports.
* Coordinate with architects and external consultants.
* Attend client and design meetings.
* Support sustainable and low-energy building design strategies.
* Undertake site inspections and surveys.
* Mentor junior engineers where appropriate.
Requirements
* Degree qualified in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering.
* Previous consultancy experience within building services.
* Understanding of UK building regulations and standards.
* Experience using industry design software.
* Strong communication and project coordination skills.
* Passion for sustainable engineering solutions.

Salary description
£35000.00 - £45000.00 per year
