Trainee Building Surveyor

£30,000 - £45,000 + APC Support + Structured Training + Bonus

Are you a Trainee Building Surveyor or a graduate looking for APC Support and Structured Training within a varied Building Surveying position? Do you want to become chartered while learning directly from an experienced surveyor, with a Discretionary Bonus and Car Allowance on offer?

This is a permanent role with a well-established surveying practice where you will be developed properly, not thrown in at the deep end. You will be given a clear pathway to build your competence, gain exposure across a range of instructions, and progress towards chartership.

The business covers both commercial and residential Building Surveying and operates largely through repeat and word of mouth work. You will be joining a small, supportive team environment where the intent is to mould this position into a long-term success story.

You will support across inspections and reporting, learning the full breadth of Building Surveying including party wall matters, dilapidations and wider commercial and residential work, while shadowing on site and building confidence with clients and contractors.

This role suits a Trainee Building Surveyor motivated by technical progression and becoming chartered, with structured support and exposure to a wide variety of surveying work.

The Role:

Supporting a Building Surveying function across commercial and residential instructions, based from the Twickenham office with site inspections
Shadowing and structured development across party wall, dilapidations, schedules of condition and measured surveys
Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm, office based with site visits as part of the role
The Person:

Building Surveying degree (graduate or masters level), including fresh graduates
Actively wants to complete APC and become chartered
Confident communicator with the drive to learn and deal with clients/contractors professionally
