Due to continued growth, they are seeking an ambitious Accounts & Tax Partner Designate to join their established team in Sevenoaks.
This opportunity is ideally suited to an experienced Senior Manager or Director currently working within a smaller or mid-sized accountancy practice who is looking to take the next step into a larger, progressive firm offering a genuine route to Partnership.
The Role
You will work closely with the Partners and senior leadership team, taking responsibility for managing a diverse client portfolio across accounts, business advisory and tax matters, whilst contributing to strategic growth initiatives and supporting the development of junior staff.
This is a visible leadership position with clear progression opportunities towards Partnership for the right individual.
Key Responsibilities
• Managing a portfolio of owner-managed businesses and private clients across a broad range of sectors.
• Reviewing statutory accounts, corporation tax returns and management accounts.
• Acting as a trusted adviser to clients on accounting, tax and commercial matters.
• Building and maintaining strong long-term client relationships.
• Supporting business development activity and identifying opportunities for growth within the existing client base.
• Managing workflow, team performance and mentoring junior staff members.
• Working closely with Partners on strategic planning and practice development initiatives.
• Ensuring compliance work is delivered to a high technical and professional standard.
Requirements
• ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent).
• Significant experience gained within a UK accountancy practice environment.
• Strong background in accounts and corporate tax compliance for owner-managed businesses.
• Experience managing client relationships and reviewing the work of junior staff.
• Commercially minded with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ambitious individual seeking long-term progression towards Partnership.
• Previous experience at Senior Manager or Director level would be advantageous.
