You'll be working predominantly on projects delivered for M&E contractors, providing detailed electrical design input through the later stages of project delivery.
This is an initial 3-month contract with an immediate start available. The preference is for a minimum of three days per week, although there is some flexibility around the working arrangement for the right candidate.
The Role
You'll be involved in:
Delivering electrical Building Services design across commercial and residential projects
Working primarily across RIBA Stages 4-5
Producing detailed electrical design information
Supporting commercial fit-out schemes
Working across residential developments
Delivering design work for M&E contractor-led projects
Coordinating electrical requirements with wider Building Services disciplines
Reviewing and developing technical design information
Supporting projects through detailed design and delivery stages

Strong experience as an Electrical Design Engineer
Building Services / MEP design experience
Experience delivering projects through detailed design stages
Good understanding of RIBA Stages 4-5
Experience across commercial and/or residential projects
Ability to produce high-quality electrical design information
Strong technical and problem-solving capabilities
Good communication and coordination skills
Ideally available to work from the office at least three days per weekExperience working directly with M&E contractors or contractor-led project teams would be particularly beneficial.
