Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor, the successful candidate will work closely with the wider maintenance team to ensure optimal plant performance, minimise downtime, and maximise operational throughput.
Responsibilities
* Respond promptly to plant downtime to minimise disruption and maximise productivity
* Diagnose faults and carry out repairs or replacement of electrical equipment
* Record all maintenance activities accurately using internal IT systems
* Fault find, interrogate and resolve issues across plant machinery and systems
* Participate in planned maintenance shutdowns and seasonal overhauls
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and team meetings
* Carry out maintenance and overhaul of plant and equipment as required
* Complete work permits and ensure full compliance with health & safety standards
* Build strong working relationships across maintenance and production teams
* Support project work and additional tasks as required
* Provide shift cover where necessary
Skills & Experience
* Qualified to 18th Edition standard
* Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
* PLC experience is desirable
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability
* Ability to prioritise tasks and work to tight deadlines
* High attention to detail with a strong focus on quality and standards
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Well-organised with the ability to follow direction and work independently
* Proactive, self-motivated and results-driven
