Pin Point Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 HGV Driver to join a well-established and growing transport operation based in Crawley.
This is an excellent opportunity for a professional driver looking for a stable, long-term role with genuine permanent prospects. The role is primarily general haulage, with the majority of deliveries involving long-distance driving across the UK.
If you enjoy being out on the road rather than completing high-volume multi-drop work, this could be the ideal position.
The Role:
* Nationwide Class 2 general haulage deliveries
* Predominantly long-distance driving
* Collection and delivery of palletised and general freight
* Completing daily vehicle safety checks and defect reporting
* Securing loads safely before departure
* Completing delivery paperwork accurately
* Providing excellent customer service at collection and delivery points
* Working in accordance with Drivers' Hours Regulations and Working Time Directive
* Maintaining a clean and professional vehicle
What We're Looking For:
* Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence
* Driver CPC Qualification
* Digital Tachograph Card
* Minimum 6 months' Class 2 driving experience
* Good understanding of Drivers' Hours and transport legislation
* Reliable and professional approach
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Flexibility to undertake long-distance routes
Working Hours:
* Monday to Friday
* Day shifts
* Long-distance work with regular nationwide deliveries
* No weekend work unless offered as optional overtime
