This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales professional to join a globally recognised engineering and manufacturing business, driving growth across a key region and playing a pivotal role in the continued expansion of Walker Filtration's Industrial Filtration and Medical product ranges.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing key customer relationships, and delivering ambitious sales growth targets across their territory. Working closely with internal stakeholders, distributors, OEMs, and end users, you will help strengthen Walker Filtration's market position while ensuring exceptional customer service and commercial performance.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement regional sales strategies to achieve revenue and profit targets
• Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, distributors, and end-user customers
• Identify and secure new business opportunities across the region
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to negotiation and order completion
• Prepare commercial proposals and quotations with support from internal teams
• Deliver product demonstrations, exhibitions, and customer presentations
• Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM records
• Analyse sales performance and market trends to identify growth opportunities
• Collaborate with internal departments including Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Product Management
• Ensure excellent after-sales support and customer satisfaction
• Attend industry events, exhibitions, and customer meetings as required
About You
• Degree qualified or equivalent experience preferred
• Minimum 5 years' successful sales experience within an engineering, manufacturing, industrial, compressed air, gas, vacuum, or related technical sector
• Experience selling capital equipment would be highly advantageous
• Experience working with OEMs and distribution partners is desirable
• Proven ability to negotiate and secure high-value contracts
• Strong commercial awareness and business development skills
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
• Strong forecasting, pipeline management, and territory planning skills
• Data-driven approach to identifying opportunities and driving performance
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
