Recruiting for an experienced Estimator to join a leading structural steel and infrastructure specialist delivering complex UK and international projects. Opportunity to work across aviation, rail, commercial, and specialist construction sectors including airports, rail infrastructure, and architectural steelwork.
Responsibilities
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Prepare BOQs, pricing models, and tender submissions.
• Engage with suppliers and analyse quotations.
• Support tender strategy, value engineering, and risk reviews.
• Ensure tenders are commercially competitive and technically accurate.
• Liaise with technical and commercial teams throughout the tender process.
• Support successful project wins across a varied project portfolio.
Requirements
• Previous estimating experience within construction or structural steel preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Commercial awareness and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines simultaneously.
