A well-established children’s residential care provider is seeking an experienced Senior Residential Support Worker / Team Leader to join its team. The organisation provides safe, stable, and nurturing homes for children with complex needs and is committed to supporting staff through training, development, and clear progression opportunities.
The Role
*
Lead shifts and support the day-to-day running of the home.
*
Create a safe, warm, and structured environment for young people.
*
Build positive, trusting relationships with each child.
*
Support care planning, key work, risk assessments, and placement plans.
*
Supervise staff and promote high standards of care and safeguarding.
*
Support education, activities, and independence skills.

What You’ll Need
*
Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People’s Workforce / Residential Childcare (required).
*
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a children’s residential setting (essential).
*
Previous Senior Support Worker or Team Leader experience (essential).
*
Full UK driving licence (essential).
*
Strong knowledge of safeguarding and the Children’s Homes Regulations.
*
Flexibility to work sleep-ins, weekends, and bank holidays.
*
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain).
*
Right to work in the United Kingdom.
