The Role
The successful SEND Teaching Assistant in Burnley, Lancashire will provide dedicated 1:1 support to pupils across the primary age range with a variety of additional needs. Working alongside class teachers, the SENDCo and wider support staff, the SEND Teaching Assistant will play a key role in ensuring pupils can access learning, develop confidence and make meaningful progress.

Providing tailored 1:1 support for pupils with a range of additional needs.
Supporting children with autism, medical needs, physical disabilities and learning difficulties.
Adapting learning activities and resources to meet individual pupil requirements.

Working collaboratively with teaching staff, parents and external professionals.
Monitoring and recording pupil progress where required.

Requirements
