Typical Responsibilities
* Assemble small components (electronic or mechanical) according to work instructions or samples.
* Inspect and test assembled products to ensure quality and functionality.
* Use tools such as soldering irons, small hand tools and air tools.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area.
* Follow ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) and safety protocols.
* Complete production documentation as required.
* Collaborate with quality control and engineering teams to resolve assembly issues.
Qualifications
* Minimum of GCSEs, Maths and English, or further education qualifications.
Experience
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience in assembly.
* Experienced background in electronics manufacture.
* Proficiency with PC literacy software.
Skills / Abilities
* Skilled in assembly techniques and able to use hand and air tools.
* Good manual dexterity for working with small components.
* Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, schematics, and BOMs.
* Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with colleagues professionally.
* Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Problem-Solving: Ability to handle unexpected situations and solve problems quickly and effectively.
* Familiarity with Health and Safety protocols in an electronics or technical environment.

Salary description
£13.45 - £13.45 per hour
