The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

As the ideal candidate will have:
You will have a good understanding of safe working practices.
The position requires the applicant to be part of an out of hours on call rota which includes evenings and weekends.
Wearing of full uniform PPE, vehicle and mobile phone will be supplied
Cat scanning
Excavation works to repair fresh water supply pipes for Scottish Water and local council authorities
Pipe repairs
Back fill and reinstatement to a high standard
Following all health and safety procedures
Ensure compliance with all current client processes and procedures.
Using company provided device iPad / Tablet / phone and completion of appropriate paperwork for daily works (job sheets / risk assessments / plant sheets / driver checks).
Interpreting the use of drawings and specifications
The candidate should have the relevant experience as well as:
Drivers licence
CSCS Card
Confined Space certification
DOMS and Water Hygiene certification
General Health & Safety training
Manual Handling
Asbestos Awareness
Abrasive Wheels (or equivalent safety certifications)
This role will involve communication with representatives of our client therefore good communication skills are a must.
The role requires some flexibility with regard to working hours, including the need to work some evenings and the occasional weekend, together with the need to occasionally travel outside of the Glasgow & Surrounding areas.
