Maths Teacher – September 2026
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teacher to join a welcoming and ambitious secondary school in Kingston upon Thames from September 2026.

The Role
You will:
* Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 for suitably experienced candidates.
* Inspire students to develop confidence and enjoyment in mathematics.
* Assess, monitor and support student progress through effective feedback and intervention.
* Create a positive, inclusive learning environment that promotes high expectations and excellent behaviour.
* Contribute to the wider life of the Maths department and school community.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and continually improve teaching and learning.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful applicant will have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
* A degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject.
* Experience teaching Maths within a UK secondary school (placements considered for ECTs).
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for delivering engaging lessons.
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
