Salary: £28,000 to £30,000 per annum, depending on experience
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm, with one hour for lunch
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
Working Pattern: Fully Office Based

We are recruiting for an experienced Sales Administrator to join a well established wholesaler and supplier business based in Borehamwood.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous sales administration and order processing experience who enjoys working in a busy, customer focused environment.

The role will involve supporting the sales team, processing customer orders and providing excellent service to customers throughout the order process. We are looking for someone organised, computer literate and confident communicating with customers over the telephone and via email.

Key Responsibilities

Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently
Managing orders from initial enquiry through to completion
Responding to customer enquiries by telephone and email
Providing customers with updates regarding their orders
Checking product availability and order information
Updating customer and order details on the internal system
Liaising with the sales team regarding customer requirements
Liaising with other departments to ensure orders are processed correctly
Resolving general customer and order queries
Preparing quotations and sales documentation where required
Maintaining accurate customer records
Handling incoming telephone calls and emails
General administration and data entry
Filing and maintaining accurate documentation
Providing additional administrative support to the wider team as required
The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Sales Administrator who takes pride in providing a high level of customer service and has excellent attention to detail.

You will ideally have:

Previous sales administration or order processing experience
Experience processing customer orders from start to finish
Good computer skills and confidence learning internal systems
Strong written and verbal communication skills
A professional and confident telephone manner
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Good organisational and time management skills
The ability to prioritise a busy workload
A friendly and professional approach when dealing with customers
The ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
A reliable and dedicated approach to work
A desire to secure a long term position within an established business
