We are recruiting for VNA HLOP Drivers for our client based in the Bury St Edmunds area. Our client are a leading international logistics partner, specialising in supply chain solutions for a variety of brands within the fashion and lifestyle sector.
Requirements of a VNA HLOP Driver:
* Experience working in a busy warehouse environment
* Ability to work at height for long periods of time - 18m high
* Basic numeracy and literacy skills
* Good and effective communication skills
* Proactive attitude
* Physically fit - some items can be up to 32kg in weight.
Details:
* Day Shift - Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm, £15.33 per hour
* Afternoon Shift - Monday to Friday, 4pm to 12am, £15.33 per hour
* Overtime rates available
Duties of a VNA HLOP Driver:
* Accurately picking items using hand-held scanners using FLT equipment - please note, the racking in the warehouse is 18m high.
* Securely operate FLT (HLOP,LLOP, PPT) equipment and adhere to strict health and safety rules on site
* Moving palletised goods around the warehouse to the correct locations
* Support with loading and unloading delivery vehicles
* Perform daily safety checks on equipment before usage
* General housekeeping duties to maintain a clean working environment
* All work undergone is physically demanding due to the nature of the environment
