Document Controller – Birmingham | £25 per Hour Inside IR35
I'm currently recruiting for an experienced Document Controller to join a major engineering and infrastructure programme based in Birmingham.
Location: Birmingham (Hybrid – minimum 3 days per week in office/site)
Contract: Initial 6 months with strong extension potential
Rate: £25 per hour PAYE
Hours: 40 hours per week
Start: ASAP
Key Requirements:
✔ Minimum 2 years' experience in Document Control or Records Management
✔ Strong knowledge of document control processes and procedures
✔ Experience with EDMS platforms including:
- ProjectWise
- AssetWise
- Asite
✔ Proficient with Microsoft Office, Teams and SharePoint
✔ Experience supporting engineering, construction, infrastructure, or project environments
✔ Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Responsibilities:
Managing project documentation throughout the project lifecycle
Maintaining document registers and trackers
Performing quality and compliance checks
Liaising with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders
Managing document transmittals and information exchange
Supporting project reporting and close-out activities
