Tradewind Recruitment is pleased to be recruiting for a School Administrator to work at an Alternative Provision in Swadlincote. This is a part-time position working 5 hours per day, 11:30am - 4:40pm, starting as soon as possible, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
This is a key administrative role within a small, close-knit school setting, so we are looking for someone who is flexible, adaptable and ready to fully immerse themselves in school life.
The Role:
Providing administrative support across the school
Managing reception duties, including answering calls and greeting visitors
Maintaining accurate pupil records and data systems
Supporting attendance monitoring and reporting
Assisting with general office tasks, including emails, filing and correspondence
Liaising with staff, parents and external agencies as required
Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the school office
Getting fully involved in all aspects of school life as requiredWhat We're Looking For:
Previous experience working in a school office or administrative role (essential)
Strong organisational and time management skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
A warm, friendly and professional manner
The ability to remain calm under pressure and handle sensitive information confidentially
Knowledge of school MIS systems is a bonus
A flexible, adaptable and proactive approach
A genuine team player who is willing to "get stuck in" wherever needed
