About the role
- Support adults and/or children as part of a multidisciplinary care team
- Deliver personal care and emotional support
- Maintain accurate care plans and documentation
- Report and escalate any safeguarding concerns appropriately
- Promote independence, dignity and choice in every interaction
What you'll need
- Minimum 6 month's experience in a UK care or support role
- MAPA training (or equivalent restraint training)
- Experience supporting people with mental health needs or learning disabilities
- Confidence delivering personal care
- Ability to provide 3 years of work references
- Ability to provide an overseas police check if you've lived in the UK for less than 5 years
- Flexibility to work across multiple wards and respond to short-notice and last-minute shift requests
