A long-term opportunity with a stable and expanding law firm.The Role Working alongside experienced fee earners, you'll play a key role in ensuring residential property transactions progress smoothly from instruction through to completion.

Your responsibilities will include:

Providing administrative support throughout the conveyancing process.
Preparing and issuing client quotations.
Liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents and mortgage lenders.
Providing regular client updates and monitoring the progression of files.
Opening and closing files in accordance with AML, SRA and CQS requirements.
Assisting with both freehold and leasehold transactions.
Ordering searches and carrying out Land Registry applications, registrations and requisition responses.
Preparing Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) calculations and submissions.
Preparing bills, receipts and payment requests for fee earners.
Providing occasional reception cover when required.About You I'm keen to speak with candidates who have:

Previous experience as a Conveyancing Assistant, Legal Assistant or Legal Secretary within Residential Property.
A solid understanding of the residential conveyancing process.
Experience handling leasehold matters.
Confidence using case management systems and the Land Registry portal.
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy workload.
Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive approach.
