The Role
CLC is delivering a long-term programme of planned refurbishment works on behalf of Norwich City Council, working across occupied residential properties. We’re looking for experienced Working Site Supervisors to lead the safe, consistent and resident-focused delivery of works on site.
This is a supervisory and coordination role, not a hands-on trade position. While occasional practical support may be required to keep work moving or resolve minor issues, your primary focus will be managing people, programme, quality and safety.
The role suits supervisors who value structure, clear processes and maintaining consistent standards across repeatable planned works.
Responsibilities
Day-to-day supervision and coordination of planned refurbishment works in occupied homes
Managing operatives and subcontractors to ensure works are delivered safely and to programme
Ensuring full compliance with health & safety, statutory requirements and CDM regulations
Maintaining site standards, quality control and right-first-time delivery
Acting as the main on-site point of contact for residents, Resident Liaison Officers and visitors
Monitoring progress and reporting accurately to contract management
Ensuring permits, site records and documentation are kept up to date
Supporting the resolution of issues affecting programme, quality or resident satisfaction
Providing occasional practical assistance where needed, without detracting from supervisory duties
This role requires presence, organisation and sound judgement, rather than continuous trade output.
