The Role
An excellent opportunity for a confident and customer-focused individual to join a well-established organisation within a busy Customer Experience department as a Customer Agent. You will be responsible for providing high-quality support to customers via multiple channels while ensuring service levels and quality standards are maintained.
Key responsibilities include:
Handling inbound and outbound customer enquiries
Responding to customers via email, live chat and social media channels
Processing customer orders accurately within agreed service levels
Resolving customer queries and complaints professionally
Moving between telephone and written customer service activities as required
Supporting customer retention and identifying suitable additional services
Maintaining accurate customer records and processing payments
Working closely with both local and remote colleagues
Achieving quality and productivity targets
Developing product and system knowledge through ongoing training and support
Requirements
The successful Customer Agent will have strong communication skills and good general IT literacy. Previous customer service experience is highly desirable, alongside office-based administrative experience. Fast and accurate keyboard skills are desirable, as is the ability to work in a target-driven environment whilst maintaining excellent attention to detail. A good standard of education, including GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent), is highly desirable. The ideal Customer Agent will be organised, self-motivated, team orientated and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively. This role could suit someone who has worked as a Customer Service Advisor, Contact Centre Advisor or Customer Support Administrator
