The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

We're working with an established travel business that is looking for an Aviation & Ticketing Executive to join its Manchester-based team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys the detail behind air travel, has excellent ticketing knowledge and takes pride in getting things right first time.
THE ROLE as an Aviation and Ticketing Executive
You'll be responsible for managing airline bookings and ticketing from reservation through to issue, ensuring everything is processed accurately and within the required deadlines.
You'll also:
Issue and amend airline tickets accurately and efficiently
Work confidently with Amadeus GDS, including reservations, ticketing, fare building and fare rules
Manage schedule changes, out-of-date-range flights and other ticketing requirements
Check bookings thoroughly to minimise errors and potential financial loss
Work with airline fares, booking classes, route networks and ticketing conditions
Identify and escalate ticketing issues where required
Maintain accurate records and follow quality-control procedures
Work closely with Reservations, Operations, Sales and Aviation colleagues
Build strong relationships with airlines, consolidators and suppliers
Support the team during busy periods and operational disruptionWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
You'll ideally have:
Previous experience within airline ticketing or the travel industry
Strong practical knowledge of Amadeus reservations and ticketing
Excellent attention to detail and a real focus on accuracy
Good knowledge of airline fares, booking classes and ticketing procedures
Strong organisation and time-management skills
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A willingness to embrace new systems, automation and processesDesirable: Experience with long-haul destinations and airline networks, ODR or similar airline processes, and automated ticketing tools.
