The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.
We're currently recruiting for a Welder/Fabricator to join a friendly, small manufacturing team based near Attleborough.
This is a flexible part-time position offering 25 hours per week, with the client happy to work around your availability. Hours must be worked between Monday and Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm, but can be spread across 3 days, 5 days, or another arrangement that suits both parties.
This role could also be an excellent opportunity for a Level 2 Welding Apprentice (or above) looking to gain practical workshop experience. If you've completed, or are currently completing, a welding apprenticeship and are confident with MIG welding, we'd be interested in hearing from you.
Duties will include:
* MIG welding 3mm mild steel
* Grinding and finishing welded products
* Assisting with the preparation of products before powder coating
* Lifting and handling products safely
* Packing finished goods ready for despatch
What we're looking for:
* Previous MIG welding experience
* Experience working with mild steel
* Ability to use grinding and finishing equipment
* Comfortable undertaking a variety of workshop and production duties
* Flexible, reliable and able to work as part of a small team

Good attention to detail and quality standards
* Level 2 Welding Apprentices (or above) are encouraged to apply
