The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Job Scope
We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Assembly & Stores Person to join a busy engineering operation in Sittingbourne. This role combines light assembly work with general stores and materials handling duties, supporting the smooth running of production and workshop activities.
You will be responsible for assembling small components, managing incoming and outgoing materials, and ensuring the stores area is kept organised and well-stocked. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys practical work and being part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out basic assembly of components and sub-assemblies following instructions
Pick, pack, and issue materials to production and workshop teams
Receive, check, and book in deliveries accurately
Maintain accurate stock records using internal systems
Keep the stores and assembly areas clean, safe, and well organised
Assist with stock checks and cycle counts
Support colleagues with general workshop and logistics tasks as required
Follow health & safety procedures at all timesPerson Specification
Previous experience in assembly, production, warehousing, or stores is desirable but not essential
Good attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Basic IT skills for stock control systems
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks
Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
Forklift licence (desirable but not essential)
