Position: Construction Project Manager
Location: London
Salary: £75,000 - £95,000 DOE plus benefits

Bennett & Game are representing an established and growing construction contractor who are seeking a Construction Project Manager to join their team.

The company delivers a diverse range of complex construction projects across the residential, hospitality and public sectors, working with local authorities, housing providers, private landlords and developers. With a typical annual turnover of £30m to £35m and a strong forward order book, the business has an established presence across the UK and delivers major refurbishment, regeneration, façade and new build schemes.

The successful Construction Project Manager will take ownership of major projects from the pre-construction and PCSA stages through to delivery and completion. The role offers exposure to a varied and secure pipeline of work, support from an experienced operational, commercial and technical team, and genuine scope to contribute to the continued growth of the business.

Construction Project Manager Position Overview

* Manage construction projects from pre-construction through to completion
* Review project information during PCSA and pre-construction stages to ensure a full understanding of design, scope and delivery requirements
* Lead the operational delivery of projects, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards
* Work closely with the commercial, technical, design and contracts management teams throughout the project lifecycle
* Coordinate site teams, specialist subcontractors, consultants and the wider supply chain
* Oversee project programmes, progress, quality and compliance throughout all stages of construction
* Ensure robust quality assurance procedures are implemented and maintained across each project
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, residents and key project stakeholders

Construction Project Manager Position Requirements

* Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager within a principal contractor, main contractor or specialist contractor environment
* Strong experience delivering complex construction, refurbishment, regeneration or façade remediation projects
* Experience working on residential, mixed-use, hospitality or public sector projects would be advantageous
* Previous involvement in PCSA and pre-construction activities would be beneficial
* Strong knowledge of construction programmes, project delivery, quality assurance and commercial requirements
* Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
* Able to manage multiple workstreams and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites across London as required
